The space
An open living room and kitchen open onto the pool deck. The main bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom; the two other bedrooms share a second bathroom.
Guest access
The whole house, pool and patio are yours. The garage is kept locked for our storage.

We are Dana and Hugo. We bought the Olive House in 2018, restored it room by room, and have hosted more than 180 stays since. We live twenty minutes away, answer every message ourselves and keep the house the way we would want to find it.

Free parking for two cars in the driveway. Palm Springs airport is 12 minutes away.

Can we check in early?
Often, yes. Ask in your booking message and we will confirm a week before you arrive, once we know the cleaning schedule.
Is the pool heated?
Yes, from October to May at no extra charge. It is kept at about 82°F.
What time is check-in and checkout?
Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout by 11:00. Your check-in page, sent after booking, has the door details and directions.
What is the cancellation policy?
Moderate: Full refund up to 5 days before check-in; after that the first night and the cleaning fee are kept.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
You pay by card on a secure Stripe page at the time of booking. We never see your card number. The total shown, including any cleaning fee and taxes, is what you pay.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, $250. Nothing is charged: your card is kept on file and only charged if there is damage, and you are told exactly what for.
When is my booking confirmed?
Instantly. You get a confirmation email and your own check-in page as soon as the payment goes through.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 6 guests, including children.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is included. Details are on your check-in page.
