Vendor job link
What a vendor sees at /v/<link>/<job>, and what comes back to you.
Maintenance → request → Send to vendor
The page shows the job as you shared it: the property and address, what is wrong, the due date, your note, and only what you ticked: the photos, the tenant’s or guest’s name and phone, your access notes. Phone numbers and emails inside the request text are hidden unless you shared the contact.
The vendor can Accept or Decline (with a reason), Send estimate (amount, what it covers, an optional PDF or photo), Propose a time (a date and a morning, afternoon, evening or custom window), Mark done (final cost, what was done, photos, an optional invoice PDF) and write to you. Every action reaches you by text or email and lands on the request’s timeline.
Until you approve an estimate, Propose a time and Mark done stay closed on their side. A vendor asked for a competing estimate sees the same job but can only estimate, decline and message; whoever you approve takes the job.
The vendor needs no account. The link is theirs alone and works for the jobs you send them; a vendor you mark inactive loses it.
- Sample page: /v/demo/demo, where every button applies the rules without saving anything.
- Rentalhand takes no fee on vendor work and never pays the vendor; they bill you as they always have.
