Connect Airbnb directly (real-time)
A Pro connection through Channex brings Airbnb bookings in within seconds, with the guest’s name, email and phone.
Calendar → Connect Airbnb (real-time)
Instead of the delayed iCal link, Pro accounts can connect a property to Airbnb through Channex, Rentalhand’s channel-manager partner. New bookings, changes and cancellations arrive within seconds, and each stay carries the guest’s name, email and phone number, so messages, door codes and ID checks work without typing anything in.
Once activated the connection is two-way: bookings flow in, and your calendar, nightly rate and stay rules flow out to the listing, only for the dates that changed. Set the default nightly rate and minimum stay on the property (Properties → Edit) and seasonal prices or rules for date ranges under Calendar → Pricing & stay rules. Vrbo and Booking.com connect on the same page with a property ID (see Connect Vrbo and Booking.com directly).
Activation is the moment Rentalhand takes over the listing’s calendar and pricing. From then on the nightly price, minimum and maximum stay, check-in and checkout restrictions and every blocked or booked night on the listing come from Rentalhand, not from what was set on Airbnb before, and Airbnb’s own Smart Pricing no longer applies. Check the property’s nightly rate and rules before you press Activate; the button stays off until the property has a nightly rate.
- Open Calendar and press Connect Airbnb (real-time). Leave “Create it from my Airbnb listing” selected, or pick a property you already added.
- Sign in to the Airbnb account that owns the listing and approve Rentalhand. Airbnb sends you straight back.
- Pick which of your Airbnb listings this is and press Use this listing. A property created from the listing takes its name, city and guest count from Airbnb; add the nightly rate and minimum stay under Properties → Edit, then press Activate.
- Back in Rentalhand the row shows Connected, and the listing’s upcoming bookings appear on the calendar within a few minutes.
- One Airbnb listing per property. The other listings on the same Airbnb account are offered on the connection page as “Add as a new property”: each becomes its own property, filled in from the listing, with its own connection.
- Airbnb never shares its pricing, so the nightly rate and minimum stay are yours to set before activation; photos and the description stay on Airbnb unless you want them on your direct booking site.
- Blocked dates and manual reservations in Rentalhand make those nights unavailable on Airbnb within seconds; delete the block or stay here to open them again.
- The connection page shows when the calendar and rates last reached Airbnb. Resend calendar & rates sends the next two years again if the listing ever looks out of step.
- Disconnect (on the Calendar page) removes the listing from Channex; bookings already imported stay on your calendar, and Airbnb goes back to managing its own calendar and prices.
- Another channel manager or PMS linked to the same Airbnb account blocks the connection until it is removed there.
- Imported stays are read-only here, like iCal stays: change dates or cancel on Airbnb.
