Connect a calendar

Rentalhand reads the iCal link each booking platform publishes and builds reservations and turnovers from it.

Calendar → Connect calendar

Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com each publish an iCal export link for a listing. Paste it here and Rentalhand syncs it every five minutes, imports reservations and blocked dates, and creates a turnover for each checkout. Cancellations and date changes are picked up on the next sync.

Calendar feeds never carry guest names or contact details. Guest contact comes from the Messages page (connected mail or forwarded notification emails), from the stay finder link, or by typing it on the reservation.

  1. In Airbnb: Calendar → Availability → Connect to another website → copy the export link. In Vrbo: Calendar → Import/Export → export. In Booking.com: Rates & Availability → Sync calendars → export.
  2. Open Calendar, press Connect calendar, choose the property and the platform, paste the link.
  3. Press Sync now. Reservations appear with the platform color; blocked dates show as blocks.
  • Links are stored encrypted and only accepted from the platforms’ own hostnames.
  • iCal is not real time: a booking can take a few minutes to show up, and iCal cannot prevent double bookings on its own.
  • Blocked ranges (Airbnb "Not available", Vrbo "Blocked") never create turnovers.
