Clock in with location, and stop guessing hours
Paying by the hour works when the hours are real.
A clock-in from the driveway and a clock-out at the door tell you how long a home actually takes. A clock-in from across town tells you something else.
Nobody wants to be tracked all day, and nobody needs to be. A location at the moment of the tap is enough.
