Renewals and addenda

Renew a lease, change the rent from a date, and sign extra documents alongside the lease.

Long-term leases → Leases → lease row

Renew opens the New lease flow at the Terms step, prefilled from the current lease: same unit and tenants, rent, deposit and fees, the start set to the day after the current end. When the new lease becomes active, the old one ends the day before and its later unpaid invoices are voided.

Change rent records a new monthly amount from an effective date. Invoices for periods from that date use it; nothing already billed changes. The dialog can send a rent change addendum for signature, starting from a short factual text you can edit.

Addenda are documents signed alongside the lease without replacing it: your own title and text, the same signers, listed under the lease with their own sign, resend, void and PDF actions.
